Our team of professionals is led by Ian Watson (Director) and Ryan Casey (Operations Manager). All of our technicians are certified by Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).
Our technicians not only have the highest level of training and certification in rope access, but they also specialize in other trades and skills to perform a variety of tasks in hybrid teams. We have extensive experience in inspections, rigging, painting and coatings, wind energy services and rescue systems.

Ian Watson
Director
Meet Ian, the driving force behind Peak Access. With humble beginnings as a technician back in 2006, Ian’s journey has covered many corners of the industrial world. His experience in rope access ranges from stadiums to chemical plants, offshore wind farms to oil sands refineries, and everything in between.
As a former Rope Access Technician (IRATA L3) who is both safety-oriented and solutions-oriented , Ian gained his first IRATA qualification in 2006. With qualifications in Rigging and Lifting, as well as Advanced First Aid and Confined Space Rescue, Ian’s been a contributor to safety, success and team culture for many years.
Throughout his career, Ian has led teams in various challenging environments, including offshore and onshore sites, mountainous terrains, mining, stadiums, bridges, hydro projects, infrastructure construction, and maintenance projects. His leadership is characterized by a steadfast focus on people and safety, client care, effective communication, and top-notch workmanship.
With Ian at the helm, our company is poised to deliver results, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Ryan runs a tight ship, he sets his people up to win and he loves the responsibility of delivering for clients and exceeding expectations. He will go the extra mile, every time. With 20 years on rope and solid contributions in the Oil and Gas industry followed by Wind Energy Ryan has been moving with the times. A technician’s background and a top manager’s pedigree, Peak Access is proud to have Ryan marshalling our operations team.
